Museum of regional studies
Novosibirsk Regional Studies Museum is one of the major museums of Siberia.Currently it's collection contains more than 170,000 artifacts. These illustrate 150,000 years of Siberian history, and describe the native culture and population.

State Academy Opera and Ballet Theater
The theatre has three halls: large - 2,000 seats, concert -550 seats, small - 130 seats.
The theatre is well-known in Russia and abroad.
Its repertoire comprises such operas and ballets as "Eugene Onegin", "The Swan Lake", "The Nutcracker" by Tchaikovsky", operas by Moussorgsky ("Boris Godunov", "Khovanschina"), Rimsky-Korsakov , Borodin ("Prince Igor"), Verdi ("La Traviata", "Othello", "Aida", "II Trovatore"), Donicetti- ("Lucia di Lammermur"), Pucchini ("Tosca","Madam Butterfly", "La Bohema"), Motzart ("Die Zauberfloete"), and many others.Operas of foreign composers are produced in the original languages.

The Youth Theatre GLOBUS

The State Dramatic Theater "Staryi Dom" (means Old house)
Theater's hall has196 seats and it'sequipped with simultaneuous translation device.
Its repertoire includes the most interesting plays of modern Russian dramatic art (many of them weren't put on stage before) along with Russian and foreign classic plays.
